Values

The foundations of my coaching practice

Treaty
Six

I respectfully live and do this work as a settler on the traditional territory and meeting grounds of Métis and First Nations people, such as the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, and Nakota Sioux.

I honour the ongoing impacts of colonialism that are inherent to every aspect of mainstream western society, and the ways that I contribute to that culture.

I commit to healing wounds my ancestors made through continuous hard work and learning.

My Queer identity is a big lens that informs me and gives me another perspective to help you see the world through.

Being Queer has taught me:

+ How to love yourself in a world that tells you not to

+ How healthy relationships are built and strengthened

What makes a family

How dynamic love can be and look like

Every relationship is unique

Equity &
Justice

We all exist as a kaleidoscope of inseparable identities; our race, gender, socioeconomic class, abilities, Enneagram types and more all are lenses that shape and inform our experience of the world.

"It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences."

-Audre Lorde

Radical self-growth and awareness creates space for more equitable relationships with yourself, others, and our communities.

Healing the world starts with an honest reflection on yourself: the identities you hold, the impacts you have on others, and how to be accountable in changing harmful behaviours.

Empowering
Space

I create as safe and empowering of an environment as possible for you.

I do this by being a nonjudgmental, confidential, and encouraging person, with whom you don’t have to explain the gifts and challenges that come with being a member of an equity-seeking community.

This gives you more space and energy to engage deeply with the patterns and habits that make you feel stuck, while you navigate the societal and systemic barriers we face.

Deep
Presence

You already have all of the natural gifts and instincts you need to create the relationships you want to see in the world.

Building up presence to your centres of intelligence (body, heart, and mind) takes patience, practice, and a lot of trust.

But with radical self-honesty and acceptance, we can bring our most present and true selves to the conversation, which allows our natural gifts and strengths to show up for the types of healthy relationships that you're seeking.

Being
Accessible

Historically, the Enneagram and coaching services haven’t been the most accessible to people, especially to equity-seeking identity groups, or people who haven’t had funds for leisure or personal development.

I commit to making my work as accessible as it can be to anyone looking to build stronger relationships and create a kinder world.
